Abstract

RESUMEN: En la investigación realizada a 31 neonatos de ambos sexos entre las edades gestacionales de 32 a 36 semanas que se encontraron en el área de Neonato del Hospital Nacional San Juan de Dios de la Ciudad de San Miguel con Diagnóstico de Prematurez durante el período de julio a septiembre, se les proporcionó el manejo de la estimulación temprana que cada uno de ellos requería, cumpliendo objetivos y metas que los beneficiaba un desarrollo motor normal. Al mismo tiempo se cumplieron cada uno de los objetivos específicos desde la identificación de las complicaciones, las causas, hasta llegar a la definición del manejo de la estimulación temprana. Realizando además, un estudio retrospectivo y prospectivo; utilizando como técnica la observación a través de una ficha de evaluación dirigida a los neonatos y una cédula de entrevista dirigida a las madres de los neonatos con el objeto de conocer el estado físico y neurológico de los niños y niñas prematuros. De igual manera, se obtuvieron datos reflejados en cuadros y gráficos con su respectivo análisis e interpretación; obteniendo resultados como: el 68.8% de los neonatos eran del sexo masculino y un 32% del sexo femenino; y que un 74.1% de las madres si estuvieron en control durante el embarazo y un 25.7% no permaneció.El total de éstos pacientes mejoró considerablemente, gracias al manejo de la estimulación temprana desde la etapa inicial de ésta manera se logró un desarrollo normal esperado dentro de la edad motriz y cronológica del recién nacido hasta los tres meses. ABSTRACT: In the investigation carried out on 31 neonates of both sexes between the gestational ages of 32 to 36 weeks who were found in the Neonatal area of ​​the San Juan de Dios National Hospital in the City of San Miguel with a Prematurity Diagnosis during the period of July to September, they were provided with the early stimulation management that each of them required, fulfilling objectives and goals that benefited them from normal motor development. At the same time, each of the specific objectives were met, from the identification of complications and causes, to the definition of early stimulation management. In the same way, data reflected in tables and graphs with their respective analysis and interpretation were obtained; obtaining results such as: 68.8% of the neonates were male and 32% female; and that 74.1% of the mothers were in control during pregnancy and 25.7% did not remain. The total of these patients improved considerably, thanks to the management of early stimulation from the initial stage and in this way normal development was achieved. expected within the motor and chronological age of the newborn up to three months
