Abstract

RESUMEN: La educación inclusiva es un enfoque que busca garantizar el derecho a la educación de todos los estudiantes, sin importar sus características. En este sentido, el Diseño Universal para el Aprendizaje (DUA) se presenta como una estrategia efectiva para responder a la diversidad de los estudiantes y ofrecerles oportunidades de aprendizaje significativas. Los recursos digitales desempeñan un papel fundamental en la aplicación del DUA, ya que permiten adaptar el contenido y ofrecer opciones accesibles para todos los estudiantes. El DUA se basa en tres principios fundamentales: proporcionar múltiples formas de implicación, representación, acción y expresión. Esto implica ofrecer diferentes opciones de participación, presentar la información de manera variada y permitir que los estudiantes demuestren su aprendizaje de diferentes maneras. Al aplicar el DUA en la educación inclusiva, se logra mejorar el acceso y la participación de los estudiantes, personalizar el aprendizaje de acuerdo con sus necesidades individuales, promover la diversidad y la aceptación, y mejorar los resultados académicos y socioemocionales. La aplicación del DUA en la educación inclusiva tiene numerosos beneficios. Por un lado, permite que todos los estudiantes tengan igualdad de oportunidades de aprendizaje, independientemente de sus características o habilidades. Además, fomenta la participación de los estudiantes, promoviendo su motivación y compromiso con el proceso educativo. Así mismo, el DUA favorece la personalización del aprendizaje, adaptándose a las necesidades individuales de cada estudiante y permitiéndoles desarrollar sus fortalezas y habilidades. ABSTRACT; Inclusive education is an approach that seeks to guarantee the right to education for all students, regardless of their characteristics. In this sense, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is presented as an effective strategy to respond to the diversity of students and offer them meaningful learning opportunities. Digital resources play a fundamental role in the application of DUA, since they allow the content to be adapted and offer accessible options for all students. UDL is based on three fundamental principles: providing multiple forms of engagement, representation, action and expression. This involves offering different participation options, presenting information in a variety of ways, and allowing students to demonstrate their learning in different ways. By applying UDL in inclusive education, it is possible to improve student access and participation, personalize learning according to their individual needs, promote diversity and acceptance, and improve academic and socio-emotional outcomes. The application of UDL in inclusive education has numerous benefits. On the one hand, it allows all students to have equal learning opportunities, regardless of their characteristics or abilities. In addition, it encourages student participation, promoting their motivation and commitment to the educational process. Likewise, the DUA favors the personalization of learning, adapting to the individual needs of each student and allowing them to develop their strengths and abilities.
