Abstract

Este proyecto de tesis se desarrolló en el municipio de Tecoluca, San Vicente,con mujeres del “Grupo de Autoayuda para la Prevención del Crimen y la Violencia” que atiende a mujeres de diferentes comunidades del municipio con el fin de romper con el ciclo de la violencia y fortalecer los conocimientos sobre derechos humanos. El principal problema de investigación radica en la violencia física que se presenta en la vida de algunas mujeres que han sido parte del grupo focal explorado, con situaciones que han marcado un precedente en la estructura familiar debido a la baja autoestima y el considerar que la conducta machista de sus parejas es algo normal. Para romper con el ciclo de la violencia, elevar el nivel de autoestima y fortalecer los derechos humanos en mujeres que han sido víctimas de este escenario, surge el grupo de autoayuda al cual, se busca apoyar a mujeres en situación de vulnerabilidad mediante los resultados obtenidos. El objetivo principal del análisis se enfoca en determinar la incidencia que tiene el Grupo de Autoayuda para la Prevención del Crimen y la Violencia en mujeres afectadas por la violencia física del municipio de Tecoluca, Departamento de San Vicente para asumir un criterio definido sobre la violencia. This thesis project was developed in the municipality of Tecoluca, San Vicente, with women from the "Self-Help Group for the Prevention of Crime and Violence", which serves women from different communities in the municipality in order to break the cycle of Violence and strengthen human rights knowledge. The main problem found in our research was the physical violence that occurs in the lives of some women who have been part of the focal group explored, with situations that have set a precedent in the family structure due to the low self-esteem and to consider that the Macho behavior of their partners is normal. In order to break the cycle of violence, raise the level of self-esteem and strengthen human rights in women who have been victims of this scenario, the self-help group emerges with which it seeks to support women in situations of vulnerability through the results Obtained. The main objective of the analysis is to determine the impact of the Self-Help Group for the Prevention of Crime and Violence in women affected by physical violence in the municipality of Tecoluca, Department of San Vicente, in order to assume a defined criterion on violence.
