Abstract

Desde el primer capítulo de este documento se da a conocer la problemática que el FUP tenía con el sistema manual, la cual se logró dimensionar en una causa principal: “FALTA DE HERRAMIENTAS INFORMÁTICAS PARA EL CONTROL ADMINISTRATIVO DE LAS UNIDADES DE CRÉDITOS Y TESORERÍA DEL FONDO UNIVERSITARIO DE PROTECCIÓN.” Este proyecto se desarrolló con el propósito de apoyar la digitalización de los procesos en la institución, y ofrecer un mejor servicio a sus usuarios, puesto que al iniciar operaciones, el FUP utilizó las hojas de Excel para tener un control sobre sus procesos; pero a medida que la demanda de sus servicios crecía, las hojas de Excel ya no eran suficientes para suplir todas las necesidades, y se incurría en tiempo de trabajo extra para generar informes para la toma de decisiones, de igual manera sus usuarios debían esperar mucho tiempo para conocer el estado financiero. Toda esta espera ocasionaba altos costos a la administración puesto que los informes generados no daban a conocer la situación al momento actual. Posteriormente se hizo un análisis de la viabilidad del proyecto la cual resulto factible, dando paso al estudio de los requerimientos para el desarrollo del sistema informático, los cuales facilitaron la construcción de una aplicación informática que solvento el principal problema del FUP, beneficiando así a la administración del FUP y sus usuarios. This project was developed with the purpose of supporting the digitalization of the processes in the institution, and to offer a better service to its users, since when starting operations, the FUP used the Excel sheets to have control over their processes; but as the demand for their services grew, the Excel sheets were no longer enough to meet all the needs, and extra work time was incurred to generate reports for decision making, in the same way their users had to wait a long time to know the financial status. All this waiting caused high costs to the administration since the generated reports did not disclose the situation at the current time. Subsequently, an analysis of the feasibility of the project was made, which was feasible, giving way to the study of the requirements for the development of the computer system, which facilitated the construction of a computer application that solved the main problem of the FUP, thus benefiting the administration of the FUP and its users.
