Abstract

This research project aimed at exploring the influence of instruction as an external factor in the teaching performance of students from the B.A. in Modern Languages specialization in French and English doing their outreach project in public institutions, year 2019, and identified how they saw the field of teaching, taking as a reference their experiences as English teachers and how they considered they could provide appropriate and effective learning experiences for the students in their classrooms. In addition, the researchers wanted to show the reasons why students of Modern Languages specialization in French and English decided to develop their outreach project in the field of teaching. In doing so, they presented the areas that could be strengthened in order to prepare students from the B.A. in Modern Languages specialization in French and English so that they could develop better skills and guide their students in their learning process in a better way. The fundamental reason why the group chose this topic was because the students from the B.A. in Modern Languages Specialization in French and English do not have the Practicum subject in their plan ofstudies, whichis intended to prepare students to put into practice the theory related to language teaching and learning. Even though they lack this subject in the curricula, most of them decided to carry out their outreach project in the teaching field
