Abstract

La deserción escolar es latente en los diferentes centros escolares públicos y privados durante cada año lectivo. La deserción se refiere al abandono de los estudios por parte del estudiante, renunciando a su derecho a la educación, que constituye uno de los problemas de educación en la actualidad, esto debido a muchos factores que intervienen en dicho fenómeno; entre ellos: la situación económica, la migración, el bajo rendimiento académico, problema sociales del entorno de la comunidad, el desinterés de la familia en relación al estudio de sus hijos y muchos más que en este estudio se presentan, así como también las consecuencias que afectan tanto al estudiante, la familia y la sociedad; para su conocimiento con base en la investigación realizada de forma descriptiva, aplicando un enfoque mixto con el método deductivo. Este estudio está dirigido a diferentes sectores de la comunidad educativa del distrito educativo 08-17 del Municipio de San Juan Tepezontes del departamento de La Paz. A través de encuestas o cuestionarios para el análisis e interpretación de resultados y hacer reflexiones sobre esta problemática. Al cruzar las definiciones entre migración y deserción, se logra identificar a lo largo del contenido de la tesis una similitud en las causas y efectos en que se da a nivel estudiantil tanto urbano como rural, en los niveles de direcciones y subdirecciones escolares, estudiantes de los diferentes niveles y grados de estudio, los docentes desde sus diferentes especialidades de formación académica con sus diversos años de experiencia profesional y los padres, madres de familia que acompañan día a día a los estudiantes. Las conclusiones y recomendaciones darán las pautas para que los actores educativos puedan aplicar para minimizar la deserción escolar, independientemente de las causas que lo generen y en los niveles educativos que de suministren en los centros escolares del municipio de San Juan Tepezontes, departamento de La Paz. School dropout is latent in the different public and private schools during each school year. Dropout refers to the abandonment of studies by the student, renouncing their right to education, which constitutes one of the problems of education today, due to many factors that intervene in this phenomenon; among them: the economic situation, migration, low academic performance, social problems in the community environment, the lack of interest of the family in relation to the study of their children and many more that are presented in this study, as well as the consequences that affect both the student, the family and society; for its knowledge based on the research carried out in a descriptive way, applying a mixed approach with the deductive method. This study is aimed at different sectors of the educational community of the educational district 08-17 from Municipality of San Juan Tepezontes in the department of La Paz. Through surveys or questionnaires for the analysis and interpretation of results and make reflections about this problem. By crossing the definitions between migration and desertion, it is possible to identify throughout the content of the thesis a similarity in the causes and effects in which it occurs at the urban and rural student level, at the levels of school directions and sub-directions, students of the different levels and degrees of study, the teachers from their different academic training specialties with their various years of professional experience and the parents who accompany the students every day. The conclusions and recommendations will give the guidelines so that educational actors can apply to minimize school dropout, regardless of the causes that generate it and at the educational levels that are provided in schools in the municipality from San Juan Tepezontes, department from La Paz.
