Abstract

RESUMEN: En el presente trabajo de investigación se abordó la temática “Estudio sobre las Competencias que Poseen los Egresados de Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas de La Facultad Multidisciplinaria Oriental, Universidad de El Salvador para Gerenciar Empresas Turísticas, Año 2019”. El cual consta de cinco capítulos que se describen a continuación: En el capítulo 1 se presentó el problema de investigación que incluye; los antecedentes del problema de investigación, la situación problemática y el enunciado del problema, describe la justificación de la investigación, objetivos, delimitaciones de la investigación tanto temporal, espacial, normativa, teórica como muestral, así como sus hipótesis y operacionalización de sus variables. En el capítulo 3 se describió la metodología de la investigación en la que se encuentran inmersas; tipo de estudio, universo, muestra, cálculo de la muestra, métodos y técnicas de investigación, instrumentos y el procedimiento que va seguir la investigación. En el capítulo 4 encontramos los resultados obtenidos plasmados en un diagnóstico sobre el proceso de formación académica en administración. turística de los egresados en administración de empresas de la FMO - UES mediante el procesamiento de información de las encuestas realizadas a estudiantes y egresados de la carrera Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas del instrumento cuestionario por medio de tablas y gráficas, para llegar a sus respectivos análisis e interpretaciones, así mismo se procesó la información obtenida de las entrevistas realizadas a los diferentes entes del turismo como autoridad de la FMO-UES, dicha información resultante se articuló en conclusiones y recomendaciones llegando a concluir que el proceso de formación académica en administración turística en los egresados de la Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas, no comprende formación turística; además el plan de estudio esta desactualizado ya que data del año 1994; también los docentes de esta carrera forman a los estudiantes en conocimientos generales en administración sin enfoque al área turística, esto se debe a que ellos no tienen especialización en esta área, ocasionando que no se implementan estrategias metodológicas programadas que ayuden a adquirir los conocimientos de administración turística. Es por hecho que se recomienda a los egresados y actuales profesionales de la carrera Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas de FMO-UES que complementen su formación en el área gerencial, especializándose en el área turística para lo cual deben aumentar su currículum de formación estudiando diplomados, carreras técnicas, o maestrías en administración turística con ello tendrán mayores competencias para gerenciar empresas turísticas. ABSTRACT: In the present research work, the theme "Study on the Competences Possessed by Graduates of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the Oriental Multidisciplinary Faculty, University of El Salvador to Manage Tourism Companies, Year 2019" was addressed. It consists of five chapters that are described below: In chapter 1 the research problem that includes; the background of the research problem, the problematic situation and the statement of the problem, describes the justification of the research, objectives, delimitations of the research both temporal, spatial, normative, theoretical and sample, as well as its hypotheses and operationalization of its variables.
