Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo de investigación se basa en identificar las competencias recibidas durante la formación profesional y cuáles son las que se deben cumplir en el desempeño laboral mediante la autopercepción de los graduados de Licenciatura en Laboratorio Clínico. De no ser así, la Universidad pueda cambiar sus estrategias de enseñanza para que los profesionales graduados de sus instalaciones sean competentes según lo demande el campo laboral donde se requiera poner en práctica sus conocimientos y habilidades. OBJETIVO. Identificar las competencias recibidas en la formación profesional por los graduados de Licenciatura en Laboratorio Clínico para su desempeño laboral, Facultad Multidisciplinaria Oriental de la Universidad de El Salvador. METODOLOGÍA. Según el tiempo de ocurrencia la investigación fue prospectiva ya que se realizó en un tiempo determinado registrando los resultados en el momento en que se desarrolló la investigación. Según el período y secuencia la investigación fue transversal ya que se realizó en un período corto de tiempo, sin ningún seguimiento posterior. Según la naturaleza de los objetivos en cuanto al alcance de la investigación fue descriptiva porque se estudió el fenómeno de investigación, que implica determinar las competencias recibidas en la formación profesional a través de la autopercepción de los graduados de Licenciatura en Laboratorio Clínico; además se recopiló información para luego analizarla e interpretarla. Según la naturaleza de la información que se recoge para responder al problema de investigación. CONCLUSIÓN: el equipo investigador concluye que el currículo vigente de la carrera no permite que los estudiantes logren todas las competencias establecidas en el perfil, si bien es cierto es adecuado para asegurar el logro de gran número de competencias, éste se debe revisar con el objetivo de incorporar contenidos para el logro de aquellas deficientes y actualizar otros, para estar acorde con los avances científicos tecnológicos en la perspectiva de mejorar permanentemente la calidad de la formación brindada a objeto de entregar personas competentes en la función a desempeñar en concordancia con la demanda actual y no apostar a que las carencias iniciales serán suplidas con la experiencia. ABSTRACT: The present research work is based on identifying the competencies received during the professional training and which are the ones that should be fulfilled in the work performance through the self-perception of the graduates of the Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory. If this is not the case, the University can change its teaching strategies so that the professionals graduated from its facilities are competent as demanded by the labor field where they are required to put their knowledge and skills into practice. OBJECTIVE. To identify the competencies received in the professional training by the graduates of the Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory for their work performance, Eastern Multidisciplinary Faculty of the University of El Salvador. METHODOLOGY. According to the time of occurrence the research was prospective since it was carried out in a determined time recording the results at the time the research was developed. According to the period and sequence the research was cross-sectional since it was carried out in a short period of time, without any subsequent follow-up. According to the nature of the objectives regarding the scope of the research it was descriptive because the research phenomenon was studied, which involves determining the competencies received in the professional training through the self-perception of the Clinical Laboratory Degree graduates; in addition, information was collected to later analyze and interpret it. CONCLUSIONS: the research team concludes that the current curriculum of the career does not allow students to achieve all the competencies established in the profile, although it is adequate to ensure the achievement of a large number of competencies, it should be reviewed with the objective of incorporating content for the achievement of those deficient and update others, to be in line with scientific and technological advances in the perspective of permanently improving the quality of the training provided in order to deliver competent people in the function to be performed in accordance with the current demand and not bet that the initial shortcomings will be supplied with experience.
