Abstract

Presentación del caso. Se trata de un paciente masculino de 9 años de edad que es traído a consulta en unidad de salud intermedia, que pertenece a la micro red de salud de Concepción Batres SIBASI Usulután por su madre con historia de aproximadamente 15 – 16 días de notar la presencia de manchas hipocrómicas de aproximadamente 2 centímetros cubiertas de descamación fina las cuales se localizan en, cara, paciente niega fiebre y prurito, sin embargo la madre decide colocar crema hidratante de la cual no recuerda el nombre, y al no presentar mejoría clínica decide consultar Intervención terapéutica. En consulta privada el paciente es manejado por médico especialista en dermatología pediátrica el cual decide tratamiento ambulatorio que consta de medidas básicas de abordaje preventivo en lesiones dermatológicas: lavado con agua y jabón de ph neutro previo a aplicación yodoclorohidroxiquinoleina (clioquinol al 1%), por 30 días. Evolución clínica. Al momento el paciente presento mejoría clínica ya que las manchas hipocrómicas desaparecieron por completo y sin presentar exacerbación de las lesiones dermatológicas y le dejan tratamiento con lavado adecuado con jabones de pH neutro y protección solar FPS 80. Case presentation This is a 9-year-old male patient who is brought for consultation at the intermediate health unit, which belongs to the micro health network of Concepción Batres SIBASI Usulután by his mother with a history of approximately 15 - 16 days of notice. the presence of hypochromic spots of approximately 2 cm covered with fine peeling which are located on the face, the patient denies fever and itching, however the mother decides to apply moisturizing cream of which she does not remember the name, and since there is no clinical improvement she decides consult Therapeutic intervention. In private consultation, the patient is managed by a doctor specializing in pediatric dermatology who decides on outpatient treatment that consists of basic measures of preventive approach to dermatological lesions: washing with water and neutral pH soap prior to application of iodochlorohydroxyquinoline (1% clioquinol), for 30 days after the days of treatment, re-evaluation by the treating physician. Clinical evolution. At the moment, the patient showed clinical improvement since the hypochromic lesions decreased, until they disappeared completely and without exacerbation of the dermatological lesions, and he was treated with adequate washing with neutral pH soaps, SPF 80 sun protection.
