Abstract

Resumen Revisión narrativa, Los errores en el diagnóstico de enfermedades son comunes en el ejercicio médico, esto impide que el paciente reciba la atención necesaria y ocasionar múltiples consecuencias, algunas muy graves, por lo que se pretende definir la púrpura de Schönlein-Henoch, su fisiopatología, cuadro clínico, tratamiento, ya que esta enfermedad suele ser mal diagnosticada. Se efectúo una búsqueda bibliográfica en Portal Regional de la Biblioteca Virtual en Salud, National Center for Biotechnology Information PubMed, ScienceDirect, The Journal of Pediatrics, An International Journal of Medicine QJM, Scielo, Revista Argentina de Reumatología, fueron incluidas las publicaciones que se encontraron a texto completo, en español e inglés durante los años 2019 al 2023. Esta revisión tiene como objetivo describir la sintomatología, diagnóstico y tratamiento de la purpura de henoch schönlein para evitar errores en el diagnóstico y sus consecuencias. Se incluye fisiopatología, etiopatogenia y medicina herbaria en estudio con el fin de demostrar que su uso previene efectos adversos como otros medicamentos utilizados en esta patología. Abstract: Narrative review. Errors in the diagnosis of diseases are common in medical practice, this prevents the patient from receiving the necessary care and causes multiple consequences, some very serious, which is why it is intended to define Henoch-Schönlein purpura, its pathophysiology, clinical picture, treatment, since this disease is often misdiagnosed. A bibliographic search was carried out in the Regional Portal of the Virtual Health Library, National Center for Biotechnology Information PubMed, ScienceDirect, The Journal of Pediatrics, An International Journal of Medicine QJM, Scielo, Argentine Journal of Rheumatology, the publications that were found were included. full text, in Spanish and English during the years 2019 to 2023. This review aims to describe the symptomatology, diagnosis and treatment of henoch schönlein purpura to avoid errors in diagnosis and its consequences. Pathophysiology, etiopathogenesis and herbal medicine are included in study in order to demonstrate that their use prevents adverse effects like other drugs used in this pathology.
