Abstract

For years, translation was a long process because the technological facilities that we have today did not exist. Thanks to technology, we now have different tools that we can use to make the translation process faster and easier. Nowadays, in a world that has become so globalized, it is crucial to know more than one language, however, knowing another language does not mean that we will be able to interpret or translate texts from one language to another at an almost native level, or that such action will be easy. Even if you are very proficient in speaking, writing and listening to another language, interpreting and translating texts are different skills that require self-study on how to perform them properly. The following report is about translation techniques that will help students and translators to do an impeccable job, and to improve academically and professionally, also to understand, create and apply a translation process that suits each translator to facilitate and organize their work, producing translations in various fields or types of documents such as marriage certificates, university degrees, and manuals that require the work of a translator, all this was done by applying the techniques we learned during the course and with the help of different platforms and tools. In conclusion, each translator must be able to broaden his fields and configure his translation process according to his capabilities or to the agency he works for. We must understand that some processes are more complex than others, considering different aspects from the beginning to the end of the translation, but always with the purpose of obtaining a high quality product from a professional translator.
