Abstract

RESUMEN: Este trabajo consiste en seis capítulos, los cuáles se describen a continuación: Capitulo I: detalla la situación actual de la problemática existente en el Redondel Monseñor Oscar Arnulfo Romero; Capítulo II: en este capítulo se presenta el marco histórico que trata del contexto histórico del problema de congestionamiento en la ciudad de San Miguel, en el marco normativo se presenta todo lo relacionado con las normas, leyes, reglamentos, y teoría relacionada a la ingeniería de tránsito, en el marco conceptual se hace referencia a la importancia de la topografía en el entorno del Diseño Geométrico de carreteras, donde se describe de manera específica el estudio del trazado; Capítulo III: describe la situación actual y generalidades del área de estudio; Capítulo IV: en este capítulo se pretende dar solución a algunos problemas que muchas veces se consideran de menor importancia pero que influyen en la movilidad y la accesibilidad vehicular en el redondel; Capítulo V: Conclusiones y Recomendaciones. ABSTRAC: This thesis project consists of six chapters, which are: Chapter I: This chapter describes the current situation of the problem at Monsignor Oscar Arnulfo Romero's roundabout; Chapter II: This chapter presents the historical background that deals with the historical context related to the congestion in the city of San Miguel, the regulatory framework presents everything related to standards, laws, regulations, and theory related to the engineering of traffic, the conceptual framework describes the importance of topography in the geometric design of roads environment, where the study of the layout is specifically described; Chapter III: Describes the current situation and generalities of the study area; Chapter IV: This chapter aims to solve some problems that are often considered minor but they actually affect the mobility and vehicular accessibility in the roundabout; Chapter V: Conclusions and recommendations..
