Abstract

RESUMEN: En el presente trabajo se realizó un análisis de la recarga al acuífero somero del área de influencia de La Laguna el Jocotal San Miguel, en el que se determinó las zonas de mayor recarga, además se estableció a través de un mapa la vulnerabilidad intrínseca de dicho acuífero donde se establecen las áreas que pueden ser afectada por contaminantes, añadido al mapa de vulnerabilidad se desarrolló un mapa de riesgo siendo esta una herramienta complementaria para poder determinar la susceptibilidad del acuífero a ser contaminado por las diferentes actividades que se desarrollan dentro del área de investigación también se estableció la caracterización físico-química del acuífero para determinar la calidad de agua, y si esta cumple con las condiciones necesarias para el consumo humano.
